Need Legal Help, read about who we are.

At All Stages of Life

The Legal Services Commission believes in helping everyone live well and plan ahead at every stage of their life.

Legal Services provides free legal information, advice and resources on a broad range of topics including:

End of life planning

Domestic and family violence

Family relationships

Housing and tenancy issues

Motor vehicle accidents

Free legal advice can be accessed by phone or in person by appointment. Our Legal Helpline (1300 366 424) is available for preliminary information, advice and referrals. Advice is usually restricted to a client's basic legal rights and obligations in a particular situation. If needed, we can arrange an interpreter through the Translating and Interpreting Service.
