Review of Guardianship and Administration Orders

Guardianship and Administration Orders are made under the Guardianship and Administration Act 1993 (SA) by the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT).

In reviews or appeals of Guardianship and Administration Orders (including Special Powers), the person to whom the orders relate is entitled to legal representation pursuant to the SACAT Legal Representation Scheme. Under that Scheme, SACAT refers those persons to us and we appoint a lawyer to represent them.

Only the person who is subject to the Guardianship and / or Administration Order is entitled to be legally represented by us. We only represent clients who are referred to us by SACAT.

For queries related to the SACAT Legal Representation Scheme, please telephone 8111 5480 or email sacatlrs@lsc.sa.gov.au.
