amica is a simple, affordable and quick way for couples to agree on parenting, property and money issues when they separate.
amica is an online service developed by National Legal Aid that helps separating couples reach agreement themselves. amica's artificial intelligence was built to take into account all of the things that need to be considered when working out what is fair for both parties. It can record what has been agreed about parenting or property and turn it into an agreement that can be downloaded.
Costs may apply when amica prepares a written parenting or property agreement, or an Application for Consent Orders. Visit the amica pricing page for more information about costs.
amica can be used by couples in any Australian state or territory. It has been optimised to work on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
amicaone
The new, single-sided version of amica – the simple, smart online separation tool – makes it easier for people thinking of separating to know where they stand.
Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), amicaone allows users to see how amica works without involving their former partner – by providing an estimate of a suggested division of money and property, reflected as a percentage split.
amicaone’s inbuilt AI considers all the factors of a relationship when giving an estimate of what is a fair split – including the length of the relationship, age and health care needs, contributions to the relationship, and earnings.
amicaone is a completely free service. No personal identifiable information is required to generate a suggested division of money and property.
