Ombudsman (South Australia)

The Ombudsman is an independent authority, which investigates complaints about South Australian government and local government agencies, and allegations of misconduct or maladministration in public administration, as well as audits of government agencies and reviews of freedom of information determinations. The Ombudsman also supports the implementation of the Information Sharing Guidelines across government and receives information about state and local government activities confidentially from whistleblowers.
