Has the power to investigate administrative actions and decisions of Commonwealth (federal) government agencies and prescribed private sector agencies to see if they are wrong, unjust, unlawful, unfair or discriminatory. This includes complaints about Freedom of Information decisions, delays in processing of requests and complaints about charges.
