New legal resources for young people and their carers

Do you have young people in your life? Do they want to learn more about their rights and the law?

We have refreshed our Young people and the law factsheet series. The series provides simple information about what the law says in common situations for young people. They are designed to help young people understand their rights and make confident, safe decisions.

They are useful for parents, carers, teachers and anyone who works with or cares about young people.

The factsheets cover:

• alcohol, drugs, smoking and vaping
• bullying, graffiti and public behaviour
• e-scooters, e-bikes and public transport
• tattoos, piercings, sexual consent and relationships, and
