Revamped, renovated and re-opened: Legal Services Commission boosts its southern suburbs services

Attorney-General Kyam Maher has officially opened the refurbished Noarlunga office of the Legal Services Commission.

The Commission is SA’s largest provider of free legal help and has revamped its office at Noarlunga House in Ramsay Place to boost its delivery of:

  • legal assistance for victims of domestic violence
  • assistance with family law, criminal law & civil law problems
  • free legal advice & information about a wide range of common legal issues
  • legal representation to eligible applicants.

Helping everyday people with everyday legal problems

“The help that the Legal Services Commission provides makes a significant difference to individuals with everyday legal problems,” says Mr Maher.

“The Legal Services Commission delivers around 140,000 legal assistance services to the SA community each year and a vital part of that is the help it provides for people in Adelaide’s south and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

“I know this refurbished office will assist the delivery of those future services and I am honoured to officially open it.”

Legal Services Commission CEO Gabrielle Canny says: “We provide a wide range of services from our Noarlunga office including life-changing assistance for vulnerable individuals and their families. This refurbishment will enhance the delivery of those services and enable us to provide greater access to justice in this community.”
